I bought my first White muzzleloader way back in 1991. They are conical guns all the way, They offered a 495 grain bullet that shot excellent. When White went out of business, my first thought was “Where in the world am I going to be able to buy my bullets now?!?” Then I found Dave at No Excuses LLC. Dave’s bullet is very much like the old bullets from White, and they shoot every bit as good if not better than the old White bullets. Load easy and I know a lot of people think 495 is a very heavy bullet, but these are extremely accurate and hit really hard. They mushroom out perfectly and the fact that Dave uses very pure lead means the bullet will always perform just like you want it to.
