Got a chance to shoot a few of the prototypes on the range this morning with Dave. You’re gonna like these!

  2. sickfastRZR

Have only shot a box but am definitely hooked. Love ’em!

  3. wobbly

Thought I’d never second guess my “tried and true” 460s but these are a real contender. Shot great!!!

  4. joejoe

Yep, these are the real deal!

  5. mcneally252

The .503s were a bit loose in my old Thompson. These .504s were just the ticket!

Great bullet. Very accurate, have been able to shoot 3” patterns at 200 yards (off a bench) with loose powder and open sights with these. They hit hard too, me and friend used them on a recent hunt and both deer we shot went no where. One at 40 yards one at 80. We will be sticking with these for a long time! Great product, great price.

These bullets are bad ass! 3” pattern at 100 yards with 85 grains of powder In my CVA Wolf and open sights. . Don’t need all the extra powder with these. . Dropped my 2019 buck at 125 yards with 1 shot, went clean through.

Haven’t used them hunting yet but shot them at 80 yards at targets with two different Hawken rifles. One of the rifles has always been problematic on accuracy. Both rifles put bullets on bullseye with 2-3 inch groups. Looks like I found the bullet for the “problem” rifle. I used the .503″” bullets.

Have a Traditions ML that I couldn’t get to group less than 3 or 4 inches at 50 yards. Tried every bullet and powder combo that I could think of. Ordered the No Excuse 50 cal 420’s and with a little bit of experimenting, I can now get 1/2″ or less groups at 50 yards. I settled on 80 grains of T7 with a Wonder Wad. These are the only bullets that I will use from now on. Also great service from the company. Ordered my bullets online and had them in less than a week.

Bought the 502 dis 420 gr bullets after using the sizing pack. Couldn’t be more satisfied! With 80 grains of triple seven 2F, is the most accurate bullet I have ever shot. A real winner.

Killed a large cow elk at over 200yds with one of these bullets and it performed perfectly. Broke entry front shoulder and 2 ribs before coming to rest on the offside hide. Almost 100% weight retention and nice mushroom bullet. 420 no excuses over 100 gn pyrodex is my go to load for our cva muzzleloaders.

Most accurate bullet I’ve fed my CVA Optima by far. 75 grains of 777 under the 420 grain bullet on a big cow elk sharply quartered toward me at just over 100 yards was devastating. The bullet passed through the near-side shoulder blade lengthwise before breaking 5 ribs, going through one lung and liver and ending up somewhere in the abdomen. She made it about 80 yards before expiring. Thanks for making a great product.

Love these bullets. I ordered them for a recent elk hunt here in Idaho this year. I am shooting a CVA Optima northwest version with 75 grains of Triple 7 and getting a little less than a 2”group with iron sights. I ended up shooting a spike elk at about 80 yards. He was quartering to me so I put it on his from shoulder a squeezed her off. Spike only went 30 yards before expiring. The bullet entered the large front leg bone and broke it in 2 and went through the off side shoulder and was sitting just under the hide. Bullet was perfectly mushroomed and only lost 2 grains from its original weight. Awesome bullets and I won’t ever shoot anything else!!

After trying every bullet out ended up with the 420gr .504’s. Most accurate most consistent bullet I’ve shot, 3″ @ 100yrds with open sights. Dropped my buck at 90yrds.

Shot the .420’s out of my .50 CVA NW Hunter on 2021 late cow elk hunt. One shot at 125 yards complete pass-through. Elk did not go 10 yards and fell over. Very accurate and hard hitting bullets-love them!!

I received these less than a week after ordered!! Can’t beat the service,, as good as the 495’s shot, i have no doubt these will be great shooters too.. (hoping i’ll get just a little less recoil with my t/c hawken.. (that shoots 1 inch or less 50 yd groups with iron sights & these bullets.. Thanks much!!!

received less than 1 week after order! …500 sized (wanted a little less recoil in my T/C Hawken 50cal).. with 75 grains (weighed) schuetzen 3F 54 cal ox-yoke wad… they hit 4 inches higher than the 495’s, .. 3rd shot dead center!! Grouping well under 1 inch @ 50yds.. iron sights!! It is fun to shoot BP now that i hit as good as i aim!! Fantastic bullets!! (Kirk Ethridge D.Ph.)

Zeroed .420s and .460s with .503 verity pack at 100 yards with my CVA Optima 26″ barrel using 85 grains of Pyrodex RS with .54 cal wads and WOW these are my new bullets. Once you dial these in they stack 2.5 inch groups no problem I will be buying more. Can’t wait to hunt with these.

Great bullets. 50 cal, 420 gr, 90 grs of 777 with a felt wad. Super accurate out of my CVA Optima. Idaho bull tag last year. Bull was coming to a cow call quartered to me. Shot at 50 yards just in front of the shoulder and ended up under the hide in front of the hind quarter. Bull went about 30 yards. Great expansion and weight retention.

I shoot the 420 grain, .50 caliber and couldn’t be happier. They shoot phenomenal and are very lethal. I’ve taken many elk with them and a few deer. I started using them due to Idaho regulations but have since used them exclusively in Washington as well, even though we’re allowed to shoot more modern bullet types. They just flat out work and I have huge confidence in them. This year I drew a dream elk tag in the Blue Mountains of SE Washington. You can bet your bullets will be in my gun.

I traded into a pristine Cooper MZ. I’m in Colorado so no sabots, no pellets, no scope. Could not get the rifle to shoot. Tried Bor-locs, Fury’s, and Thor’s. This bullet in .504 caliber shoots cloverleafs with BH209 65 grains weighed. I was at the point where I was going to send the rifle down the road. Now I’m ready for elk. Couldn’t be happier. Sent in an order for another 100 bullets.

I also started with a White rifle and docs bullets many years ago. When I wasn’t able to get them any longer I found you. Fast forward a bunch of years later and a lot of dead critters thanks to your bullets. The last 4 years I’ve been helping to guide Elk hunters in Colorado for MZ loader season. I try like hell to convince every hunter coming to size their bore and find a load that works with your bullets. I’ve seen no fewer than 5 failures on Elk the last few years with guys shooting the power belts. Renamed powder puffs in our camp. I’ve never seen a poorer performing bullet. 3 of those 5 were unrecovered animals including a beautiful 6×6 that was hit at 45 yards right behind the shoulder just 2 weeks ago. Meanwhile EVERY animal hit with a no excuse conical has been recovered. Total of 7 in the last few years, including one of my own. Thanks for a great product. Keep on keeping on.

My mountaineer shoots these bullets lights out. they flat out perform! I shot a deer last year with these bullets, and look forward to hopefully getting another chance this year. They performed flawlessly. I look forward to many many years of using no excuse bullets!!
